Baby Brigg was perfect for his newborn session! I have never had such a an easy newborn shoot. He stayed awake at the beginning so I could get a couple of shots of his big beautiful eyes and then fell into a deep sleep and didn’t seem to mind at all when I moved him around and had him lying on a chair. The Robinson’s are such a great family and the kids were helpful and willing participants throughout the whole shoot. Congrats Robinson family, Brigg is perfection!
We’ve known the Bott’s for several years. We got married around the same time, had babies around the same time and now our girls are friends and go to school together. Every fall we swap family pictures, It’s fun to see our families grow up and in the Bott’s case, grow bigger. Rachel is such a cute pregnant momma! It’ll be fun to see their new sweet baby girl in just a couple of months.
Kodey and Sarah are so much fun! I love when couples incorporate things that are so “them” in their engagement shoot. These two love the outdoors and Kodey even proposed while the couple was out panning for gold. Kodey sprinkled some fools gold around on the ground, Sarah was busy checking out the gold when she turned around and found Kodey on one knee. Such a fun and unique way to propose! So the two wanted to head back up the canyon for some outdoorsy campfire pictures. We went to Mueller park in Bountiful and got some great shots! They brought supplies for s’mores and got cozy under a blanket. Though the s’mores ended up not being edible due to the sheer amount of lighter fluid we used on the fire 🙂
These two also love sports. Sarah loves football and Kodey loves soccer and they met while playing ice hockey. I made them play a little one on one to test their skills!
I had so much fun with these two and can’t wait for their formal session in a few weeks!
Jon and Rachel were married in the Salt Lake Temple. It poured all morning but the moment they walked out of the temple doors the rain stopped! We rushed through the family/group pictures as quickly as we could since we knew we didn’t have much time before the rain started again. It sprinkled the rest of the time but Jon and Rachel were troopers and embraced it. The gloomy weather actually made for such beautiful pictures and the rain meant we got to have fun with an umbrella!
The reception was held at Magnolia Grove. Fortunately the rain was gone and the clouds parted so that Jon and Rachel were able to spread the reception to the beautiful garden.
I loved working with these two! They were perfectly relaxed in front of the camera and just spent the entire time cuddling, kissing, whispering and laughing, a photographer’s dream couple for sure! Congrats Jon and Rachel!
Elizabeth Cooper’s Boutique and I got together for a styled inspiration bridal shoot. We wanted rich, deep colors and unique details. We worked with so many great local vendors! We incorporated artichokes into the shoot for a fun twist. We wanted a dark chocolate cake and Cassidy Budge did not disappoint! Her cake was rich looking with gorgeous flowers! The best part is, she made all the flowers, berries and even artichoke out of sugar! And check out the wood invitations by Wood Chick! So cool! Jess is STUNNING and made the perfect model. She was so much fun to work with and she kept us laughing all night!

A couple months ago I was able to photograph the most beautiful late summer, backyard wedding. Mike and Ali live in Seattle but decided to have their destination wedding in gorgeous Park City. This wedding was the perfect balance between elegant, casual, and fun. Ali’s dress is stunning and the fact that it was her mother’s wedding dress makes it even more perfect! Mike and Ali had a traditional jewish ceremony under a gorgeous Huppah. After the ceremony the guests were treated by a dinner consisting of the bride and grooms favorite foods all purchased from local farmers markets.
If you are an animal lover you will love this wedding! On the property were, horses, goats, ducks, chickens and 3 of the sweetest dogs, one of which was even part of the wedding ceremony.
The reception was lively and fun, thanks to the awesome live band, Changing Lanes Experience. They were so entertaining, if you get a chance too, I highly recommend attending one of their concerts. Mike and Ali were hoisted up in chairs for the traditional hora dance while everyone sang and danced around them. The guests were so much fun and everyone had such a great time! Planit-PC did a gorgeous job planning this wedding, so many great details! Congrats to Mike and Ali, I’m so glad I got to be part of their special day!
I’m so behind on blogging! Eek! So I am going to try to get caught up starting….. now!
A few weeks back I shot the Elizabeth Coopers Boutique wedding gown event. If you are a bride looking for a gown I highly recommend checking them out! This last show had some great vendors:

Imprint Your Love
Elizabeth Coopers Boutique
Ali Brown Studios (of course!)
I had a blast shooting the Cooley family’s pictures! I had two weddings back to back but managed to squeeze the Cooley’s in, just in time…. Their son left on his mission to Madagascar just 2 days later! They hadn’t had a professional family picture done since the kids were little, so I am happy I could do this for them.
This awesome family is some of the most laid back, kind and genuine people you will ever meet! They made my job a piece of cake and it doesn’t hurt that they are so good looking too!
Bryn and Jackie’s wedding was one of the FUNNEST weddings I have ever shot! I seriously LOVED this wedding! The ceremony was held at the, High Star Ranch, in Kamas. It was an unusually cold day for June but beautiful none the less with perfect blue skies! Bryn and Jackie opted for a fun, casual party atmosphere for their reception. They had a bean bag toss, dancing, open bar, fire pit with smore’s bar, and dinner was all you could eat from 2 different food trucks! Bryn owns Ski Butlers (it’s a ski rental shop) – So naturally it only seemed fitting for their guest sign-in to be a ski shot! It was so much fun and Planit-PC did a gorgeous job decorating, loved the shabby-chic decor! Thanks Bryn and Jackie for letting me be part of your special day, I had a great time!
